The story about chinese cinderella was about a girl who does not get love from her parents. When she was born , her mother died and people from her family started thinking that she brings bad luck to her family. Soon , her father married a foreign woman . She has 3 brothers and 1 of them being her step brother and 1 step sister. Even though her parents doesnt love her . She still have love and care from her aunt and her grand father . Its not fair that her parents love her siblings more than her as it was not fair. Its also not fair to Adeline bringing ' bad luck ' to the family. Its part and parcel of life that someone pass away. She lived in Shanghai and a couple of years she moved to Hong Kong . She took part at a writing competition at the age of 14 . Unexpectedly , she won the writing competition and her father was convinced and her father send her to study at England . My favourite character is Adeline. She show resilience in the story and she still manage to take all those comments given by her siblings . Not getting love from her parents made me realise how fortunate I  am. Reading this book make me realise that Adeline was poorly treated by her parents and she had a painful child hood . Based on the book , I learned that I have to cherish the moments with my friends and family as we would not know what might happen. I really  consider you  to buy this book . If you are looking for a good book to read . Chinese cinderella is a book that can make you realise how fortunate and lucky you are and if you read this book , you should be thankful of what you have and the attention , love and care you parents gave you
